Places to Visit

L'Aide Frechu is in the district of St Jean du Corail

It stands near to the main D907 to Mortain, which is the closest small town, in the Department of Manche, Normandy.

Mortain

Mortain has a range of shops and banks, a tourist office, doctor, post office and an open air swimming pool. It also has two supermarkets and a weekly street market. There are two waterfalls to visit, an ancient abbey, a tiny cliff-top chapel, WW2 historic sites and a karting centre.

There is a wealth of walking and cycling opportunties. The former railway line has been converted to a safe walking/cycling track and the local tourist office provides details of many touristic opportunities.

St Hilaire du Harcouet

The market town of St Hilaire du Harcouet is only fifteen minutes away. Here there is a greater range of shops and facilities and a thriving weekly market.
